Faced with your questions about the sanitary situation in the Gard department, it seems important to us to clarify certain points and to reassure you about the sanitary context around the campsite.
Since Thursday 27/08/2020 the government has decided to put the Gard department in the red zone. The main factor of this decision is its geographical situation between the Hérault and the Bouches du Rhône, two departments with a high rate of incidence and positivity to the tests, it also allows a stronger reactivity if all the same the number of people tested positive in the Gard were to increase considerably.
But our location in Provence Occitane, at the gateway to the Ardeche and the Cevennes, takes us far away from beaches of strong influence and very busy areas.
In addition, despite the advice of certain countries to avoid travelling to France (with sometimes the existence of inconveniences for the customer due to the setting up of a fourteen and/or screening upon return, third countries such as Holland, Germany and Belgium do not, for the time being, prohibit their nationals from travelling to France.
We do not minimize the risk, so we have reinforced our sanitary protocol (frequent cleaning and disinfection, strict rules concerning the use of common areas, hydro-alcoholic gel available in the strategic places of the campsite, compulsory wearing of masks in enclosed areas).
In this context, we are all the more vigilant about respecting barrier gestures and protective measures and we invite our clients to be equally vigilant so that everyone can enjoy their holidays in the best possible conditions.
We are always looking forward to welcoming you to Camping Les Cascades, where the sun and the song of the cicadas are always present. We wish you an excellent holiday at Camping Les Cascades.
If our small family campsite is conducive to conviviality, it is also a good answer to the situation we are going through. Indeed, we offer well-spaced and private accommodation. All our pitches have individual private sanitary facilities. Our accommodation and pitches are spread over an area of 5 hectares and benefit from the peace and quiet of a unique green setting.
We have also acquired innovative and protective household appliances. The Vapodil is a dry steam cleaning device at 120°C which has a strong disinfecting power with bactericidal, fungicidal, yeasticidal and sporicidal effectiveness.
